Process & Customization

Wedding Collection Guide

How to Order

  1. Browse the collection and choose the suite that best fits your aesthetic vision. We recommend placing your order at least 2 months before you need them in hand.

  2. After you place your order and submit your wording, a digital proof will be sent to you within 5-7 business days to approve.

  3. ONE complimentary round of minor revisions is included with your order. Any additional rounds of revisions will incur a fee of $50 per invitation piece proof, which will be invoiced to you separately and must be paid before your invitations are sent to press. Please refer to our policies for further details on how this all works.

  4. After you give final approval of your proofs, the invitations will be sent to press. After final approval, please allow approximately 3-4 weeks for digital flat printing, 4-6 weeks for letterpress or foil press printing, and an additional 1-2 weeks for envelope addressing and any other add-ons if applicable. Conditions apply. All orders except samples will ship via UPS ground.

Ordering Tips

Not sure how many invitation suites to order? We recommend counting addresses rather than individuals, since invitations are typically mailed to households. Now add 15-20 extra invitations to give yourself room for last minute invites, any you might misplace or damage, and keepsakes to have photographed along with your other day-of details.

In most cases, we can accommodate an extra print run, but a $100 set-up fee will be charged, in addition to the cost of the extra invitations.

All of our FSC-certified envelopes have a smooth, matte finish and come with a triangular flap.

Please note—

We source from several suppliers to ensure product availability, and as a result, there may be minor variations between the photos on our website and the exact paper and envelopes we source for your invitations. For instance, the shade of our beige envelopes will be the same across all suppliers, but the envelope flap may vary slightly—some having a deeper v-shape and others having a shorter v-shape.

We strive to represent the colors shown on our website as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee that the actual color of the envelope will look exactly like the screen color. The colors displayed on-screen may vary depending on monitors and what is shown may NOT be an exact representation of the color.

Handmade Cotton Rag Paper—$$
(Letterpress & Foil Only)

A selection of our suites can be printed handmade paper, our most luxe option. Each sheet of paper is handmade using 100% recycled t-shirt cuttings and comes with naturally deckled edges. Acid and bleach free with a beautiful, highly textured finish.

Slight size, paper thickness, print quality, and color variations as well as other imperfections may occur given that each card is individually handmade with recycled materials. Please expect slight differences in shade and texture based on the pulp batch the sheets were created from, as well as a variance of 1/8-1/4 inch from actual size. If you choose this paper option, we encourage you to embrace these inconsistencies as they give a more organic feel to your invitations!

Only letterpress and foil press printing are available on this paper. If you choose to foil press, there may have some breakage due to the handmade, highly textured nature of the paper. We do our best to prep your print so this will not happen, but please be aware there may be some (very slight) patchiness to foil prints.

Printing Methods

Digital flat printing, letterpress, and foil press printing are available with our suites.

printingmethods-3.jpg

Digital flat ($) —

The most budget-friendly printing option, digital printing leaves a smooth and flat image on the surface of the paper. Available on our standard stock and deckled paper.

Keep in mind: Digital ink is not completely opaque and may blend with the color of the card stock, so if you want the truest color results, we recommend sticking with our soft white paper options. For digital ink to show up against dark papers or envelopes, you must choose white ink. Again, because the white ink isn’t completely opaque, it may look slightly translucent on darker papers. For a completely opaque print, choose foil press.

Letterpress ($$) —

Letterpress printing is a type of relief printing. A custom plate of your design is inked up and pressed into each card, leaving a beautiful debossed impression of your design that you can feel with your fingertips. Available on all of our in-house paper stocks.

Keep in mind: Letterpress ink not opaque, so letterpress is not available with our dark papers or envelopes unless you choose blind press. Blind press consists of impressing your design onto the paper using an un-inked letterpress plate for a subtle, debossed look with no color.

Foil Press ($$$) —

Similar to letterpress printing, foil press printing is a type of relief printing where the design is pressed into the card. The main difference is that instead of ink, foil is used to print your design. Foil press printing is fully opaque and available on all of our in-house paper stocks, including our darkest papers and envelopes.
